Is An Air Conditioner Suitable For Everyone?
April 23, 2021 |

The air conditioner is definitely one of the greatest inventions in human history. It is hard to imagine how our ancestors could withstand the summer heat when the air conditioner did not come out. With the increase in people’s income level and the reduction in air-conditioning prices, almost every household has air-conditioning installed, and they can talk and laugh in the high temperature.
But is everyone suitable for air conditioning? The answer is yes, at least these people are not suitable.
- The elderly
With the increase of age, the elderly have poorer physical functions and weaker immunity. They are prone to get sick when using air conditioners. At the same time, if the temperature of the air conditioner in the room is turned on very low, the difference between the temperature and the outdoor temperature is too large, which will easily cause the blood vessels of the elderly with three highs and atherosclerosis to constrict and increase blood pressure, causing serious consequences. - Children
Children have poor body regulation and low immunity. If they spend a long time in an air-conditioned room with a low temperature, they can easily catch a cold. Coupled with poor air circulation in the air-conditioned room, they can easily catch colds, fevers, and allergies. Rhinitis, allergic asthma, and other diseases. - Pregnant women
I believe many friends have seen the news that the mother-in-law did not let the pregnant woman turn on the air conditioner, and the pregnant woman was killed by heat. In the news, the mother-in-law’s behavior is absolutely ignorant, and it will definitely not work to keep her undercover on a hot day. However, pregnant women are really not suitable for long-term air conditioning. They are very sensitive to the requirements of the environment and temperature. Inhalation of cold wind into the body will affect the health of themselves and their babies. - People with cervical and lumbar problems
My neck and shoulders were very painful in the previous paragraph. I couldn’t stand the pain anymore. So I got a blind massage (guaranteed to be regular). The masseur said that my neck and shoulders were very humid. I will not turn on the air conditioner for two days after I go back. Therefore, friends with cervical and lumbar spine problems must be cautious when turning on the air conditioner. - Patients with rheumatoid arthritis
Let me talk about this question. I actually rode a bicycle to and from school when I was in high school because the Poling cap was cold this winter. This is the background. When I was in college, the dormitory did not have air-conditioning or fans (don’t ask, it’s the old building, the circuit is not suitable), so I can only buy a small fan for blowing it. One day, the fan blew all night. After waking up, my knee hurts to death. The fan is already like this. Think about it. If the air conditioner blows on all night, I can’t take off? So if you have rheumatoid arthritis, you should also pay attention to turning on the air conditioner in summer.
